Aliya Tull is a dedicated elementary educator with a passion for fostering student growth and academic success. With extensive experience teaching at charter and private schools, she specializes in lesson planning, classroom management, and student progress monitoring. Currently teaching first grade at Friendship Day School for the Sciences and the Arts in Charlotte, NC, Aliya builds meaningful relationships with students and their families to create a supportive learning environment.

Beyond the classroom, Aliya has served as a summer camp counselor, swim instructor, and after-school mentor, demonstrating her commitment to youth development. She co-founded SpelPREP, a tutoring and classroom aid program that connected college students with K-12 learners, highlighting her leadership and advocacy for educational equity.

Aliya holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College and is certified in teaching, CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding. Her expertise in curriculum development, student mentorship, and educational research makes her a valuable contributor to the field of elementary education.
